The 3 Dogs’ Portrait, Again

by

In my article "The 3 Dogs' Portrait" from , I shared a couple photos of our three dogs with their tongues out – I don't have many photos of our dogs' tongues…

And back in , I played around with one of those photos a bit (using Aperture) and came up with a black and white version, with their three tongues in color…

Doggy Portrait

It's not the greatest photo, but I was at least satisfied with the end result. I was able to gain more experience using Aperture's limited brushes in the process, and it was a fun waste of time, if nothing else. Michelle has this photo as her desktop wallpaper on her work computer and apparently a lot of her co-workers think our dogs are super cute and can't help but to gush over them…

Since early November when I edited this photo, I've been feeling very short of time. I have a ton of things I need/want to get done and find myself constantly racing against time.

In early December I was racing to get a new version of my blog up before we left for Calgary to spend the holidays with my family and I figured that once I was in Calgary I'd be able to take a deep breath and relax. I thought I was going to have a ton of free time here in Calgary (and lots of time to blog) but our first two weeks here have been jam-packed and I hardly have any time to even breathe or to recover from the previous day's activities…

So needless to say, I've fallen very behind on my blogging and the photos in my Aperture library keep piling up – it's going to be a lengthy process to go through them all once I finally get the time, which I'm guessing won't be until we're back in Toronto. And when we do get back to Toronto, I think I'll need to take a week to just relax and recover my energy…

Indeed, I have a long list of articles I want to write and I intended to write a lot more this month, (every day since we've been here in Calgary I've told myself I'd get an article up "today"), but unfortunately health nor time have not been on my side. So now, on the last day of the month (and year) I find myself scrambling to meet my self-imposed minimum of two articles per month, and perhaps even cheating a little by sharing The 3 Dogs' Portrait, Again instead of something already on my list… Hm.

Well, I suppose I should get back to preparing for tonight's New Years Eve celebrations… Until next year!
