Mobile Arranging Studio…

by

Here are two photos I came across of my portable arranging "studio", if you could call it that… Sort of like "before" and "after" shots.

The photos are very similar, no? Not much has changed over the years… Hm.

I must admit, I was quite spoiled in Calgary, at least in terms of space. I miss having two side-by-side desks, a dedicated "office/studio" space, I really miss having a color laser printer, an office chair, a desk!, OK, I’ll stop. :-) But seriously, I’m not complaining.

One of the major disadvantages of not having a desk, or a permanent "spot" for my keyboard and computer is that I spend a lot of time procrastinating setting it up on the dining table. I’m not necessarily procrastinating doing the work, but setting things up – which, if you look at the photos, actually doesn’t require very much. (Translation: I’m lazy?) But the advantage of not having a permanent home for my keyboard is that when I finally do get things set up, I focus a lot harder on the task at hand and am much more productive. But still…

Anyways, I have a lot of charts to do so I should probably stop procrastinating and get things set up already…
