Lorenzo & Cachita’s Bath & Haircut
Lorenzo & Cachita, our two dogs, recently got a bath and haircut. I don’t trust any groomer with them, nor have I been able to find one in Calgary that meets my requirements, so I do all their grooming myself. I always used scissors in the past and this was my first time using clippers (wow they are expensive! – we spent $400 for the clippers and attachments).
Now that they’re done, we know without a doubt that we prefer them with long hair. Especially Lorenzo. it’s much harder to maintain them that way (we’d have to comb them at least every two days) but well worth the effort. Nevertheless, both of them really did need a trim and I’m sure they’ll appreciate it come summertime.
